What are Plate Packs?

Plate packs are a series of flat or corrugated stainless-steel plates stacked within oil or solid separator units.

• Oil separator unit – as wastewater flows through a plate pack, oil droplets coalesce (combine) into larger droplets that rise to the surface for skimming.
• Solid separator unit – solid waste settles at the bottom of the unit for easy removal.

Malaysian Airports – KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) Terminal 2 (2012-2013)

• Supplied 59 plate packs for 10 oil separator sites with flow rates from 1,368 m3/h to 9,900 m3/h.
• Placed under the airport tarmac, tested to safely and efficiently clean up oil and fuel spills from rainwater run-off.
