Brief Description:

This was a 40,000 m3/d D&C contract for a green fields Industrial Estate for 24 textile companies with approx 30,000 workers working within the industrial estate. The treatment process included screening, pump well, 20,000 m3 Balance Tank, chemical flocculation for colour removal & COD, SS and turbidity reduction, 2 x 45 m dia. primary clarifiers, biological treatment, 2 x 50m dia. secondary clarifiers; 2 x 200 m3/h DAF sludge thickeners & 4 x 3m wide belt filters. Control system using Siemens PLC & SCADA. SWA & SEPA China jointly designed, manufactured, constructed, tested and commissioned the M&E works and designed & supervised construction of the civil, concrete & building works.
